My daughter has APECED, known in the states as APS Type 1. She's 12 and diagnosed just 2 years ago. Went through hell till we knew what we were dealing with. Since then we have a website...APSTYPE1.ORG and you can find out about Gaby and we have a research grant we are working on with NORD (National Organization of Rare Diseases) to hopefully find a cure.
